Increase Construction ("Increase Construction", "we", "us" or "our") is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, and works with trade and construction businesses across Australia. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
We collect personal information you give us directly, and some information automatically when you use our website.
- Enquiry and registration forms: your name, email address, phone number, business name, trade or specialisation, region, website, and answers to short questions about your business such as team size, turnover range, workload and hiring needs. Some forms include a free-text message.
- Get Work network and recruitment: if you register as a contractor, tradesperson or candidate, the details above plus your availability, experience, licences and qualifications you choose to share, and any correspondence with us.
- Consultations and calls: notes from strategy calls and consultations. With your consent, video consultations may be recorded and transcribed so we can produce accurate summaries and follow-up actions.
- Messaging and social channels: messages you send us through Facebook Messenger or other platforms, including automated conversations that help us respond quickly.
- Website usage: pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location, and interactions such as form submissions, collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and assess whether our services are a fit for your business.
- To deliver services you engage us for, including consulting, marketing, recruitment and contractor procurement.
- To match contractors and tradespeople in our network with businesses looking for work or people, where you have registered for that purpose.
- To contact you by phone, email or SMS about your enquiry, and, where you have agreed or would reasonably expect it, to send information about our services, events and content. You can opt out at any time.
- To measure and improve our website, advertising and content.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses the following third-party technologies:
- Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google may set cookies and process usage data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads. This may involve sharing hashed contact details and event data (such as a form submission) with Meta.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects our website and provides Turnstile bot protection on our forms.
- Embedded content such as YouTube videos and Calendly booking pages, which may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of interest-based advertising through Google Ads Settings, Meta's ad preferences and industry tools such as Your Online Choices. Disabling cookies may affect parts of the site.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business and provide our services:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf, including our CRM (Pipedrive), email and productivity tools (Google Workspace), SMS and calling (JustCall), video meetings and transcription, website hosting (Cloudflare), analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta), and scheduling (Calendly).
- Clients and contractors: if you register with our Get Work network or apply for a role we are recruiting for, we may share your details with the relevant business so they can contact you about work. If you are a client, we may share your business needs with contractors we are sourcing for you.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law or to protect our legal interests.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of the providers above store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Security and retention
We protect personal information with access controls, encrypted connections, bot protection on our forms and secure third-party platforms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to minimise risk. We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.
7. Access, correction and opting out
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, ask us to stop contacting you for marketing, or ask us to delete your details from our network. Email info@increaseconstruction.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and you can reply STOP to any SMS.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at info@increaseconstruction.com so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and working tradespeople. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
